6 U.S.C. § 483 — Report

(a) Report required. Not later than 12 months after November 25, 2002, the President must submit to the congressional committees named in subsection (b) a report on how section 482 of this title is being carried out. The report must include any recommendations for additional measures or appropriation requests, beyond what section 482 of this title already requires, to make information sharing between and among federal, state^*, and local entities more effective.

(b) Specified congressional committees. The committees referred to in subsection (a) are: (1) the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence and the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives; and (2) the Select Committee on Intelligence and the Committee on the Judiciary of the Senate.
