6 U.S.C. § 645a — Human trafficking assessment

Not later than one year after December 21, 2018, and every year after that, the Executive Associate Director of Homeland Security Investigations must report to the specified Senate and House homeland-security and judiciary committees on investigations undertaken by Homeland Security Investigations. The report must include: (1) the number of confirmed investigations by category, including labor trafficking, sex trafficking, and transnational and domestic trafficking; (2) the number of victims by category, including (A) whether each victim suffered sex or labor trafficking and (B) whether each victim is a minor or adult; and (3) an analysis of those data and other data available to the agency that indicates general trafficking or investigation trends.
