7 U.S.C. § 1855 — Supplemental appropriations to encourage exportation and domestic consumption of agricultural products

This section authorizes $500 million for each specified fiscal year for the Secretary of Agriculture to carry out a referenced agricultural-support program. No more than half may be used for one agricultural commodity or its products in a fiscal year.
For each fiscal year beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 1957, Congress may appropriate $500,000,000 so the Secretary of Agriculture can further carry out section 612c of this title. All laws governing spending funds appropriated under that section apply. However, during any fiscal year, up to 50 percent of the $500,000,000 may be used for one agricultural commodity or its products.
There is hereby authorized to be appropriated for each fiscal year, beginning with the fiscal year ending June 30, 1957, the sum of $500,000,000 to enable the Secretary of Agriculture to further carry out the provisions of section 612c of this title, subject to all provisions of law relating to the expenditure of funds appropriated by such section, except that up to 50 per centum of such $500,000,000 may be devoted during any fiscal year to any one agricultural commodity or the products thereof.
