This subchapter borrows the general legal rules for suspending, restraining, or overturning orders of the Interstate Commerce Commission. Those rules apply to the Secretary's power and duties here, and to anyone this subchapter covers.
This is one undivided rule with no lettered parts. For this subchapter, all existing laws about suspending or restraining the enforcement, operation, or execution of an order — or about setting aside all or part of an order — of the Interstate Commerce Commission are made to apply here too. They apply to the Secretary's jurisdiction, powers, and duties in enforcing this subchapter, and to anyone subject to this subchapter.
For the purposes of this subchapter, the provisions of all laws relating to the suspending or restraining the enforcement, operation, or execution of, or the setting aside in whole or in part the orders of the Interstate Commerce* Commission, are made applicable to the jurisdiction, powers, and duties of the Secretary* in enforcing the provisions of this subchapter, and to any person* subject to the provisions of this subchapter.
