Specified personal-service-contract limits do not apply to Department veterinarians performing listed work.
Beginning October 28, 1991, laws that prohibit or restrict personal-service contracts do not apply to Department veterinarians who, on a fee-for-service basis, take animal blood, test and vaccinate animals, or brand and tag them.
On and after October 28, 1991, provisions of law prohibiting or restricting personal services contracts shall not apply to veterinarians employed by the Department to take animal blood samples, test and vaccinate animals, and perform branding and tagging activities on a fee-for-service basis.
