Every year by March 1, the Secretary must give Congress a public report on the cattle and hog industries. The report must describe the industries' economic health, how business practices are changing, and any market activity that raises concerns under this law.
Not later than March 1 of each year, the Secretary* shall submit to Congress and make publicly available a report that—
assesses the general economic state of the cattle and hog industries;
describes changing business practices in those industries; and
identifies market operations or activities in those industries that appear to raise concerns under this chapter.
