16 U.S.C. § 110a — Headquarters site; acquisition of lands

This section lets the Secretary of the Interior move Mount Rainier National Park's headquarters. The goal is twofold: to open up the current headquarters site for a public use it fits better, and to give the park a new headquarters. To do this, the Secretary is authorized to set up the new park headquarters in the general vicinity of Ashford, Washington. The Secretary may acquire land, or an interest in land, there — using whatever means the Secretary judges to be in the public interest — but the total acquired for this purpose cannot exceed three hundred acres.
