The Trade Representative and responsible Secretaries must seek technical and policy advice from the congressional advisory committees representing affected interests. They may also seek advice from State agencies and private persons.
When carrying out their assigned functions under this subchapter, the Trade Representative* and responsible Secretary must seek technical and policy advice from the committees established under section 2155 that represent the affected interests. They may also seek advice from appropriate State* agencies and private persons.
In carrying out the functions for which responsible under this subchapter, the Trade Representative* and the Secretary concerned* shall solicit technical and policy advice from the committees, established under section 2155 of this title, that represent the interests concerned, and may solicit advice from appropriate State* agencies and private persons.
