This section permits a military-department Secretary to provide free broadband internet service to a service member living in specified military unaccompanied housing in the United States.
A military-department Secretary may provide broadband internet access at no cost to a service member who lives in military unaccompanied housing, as defined in § 2871, within the United States.
The Secretary of a military department may provide, to a member of the armed forces* who resides in military unaccompanied housing (as defined in section 2871 of this title) within the United States, broadband internet access service, at no cost to such member.
