In specified legacy provisions, “technical data” means recorded scientific or technical information about supplies bought by an agency, with listed exclusions.
In any chapter 137 legacy provision, “technical data” means recorded information, whatever its form or recording method, that is scientific or technical in nature, including computer-software documentation, and relates to supplies* an agency bought. It does not include computer software; financial, administrative, cost or pricing, or management data; or other information incidental to administering a contract.
In any chapter 137 legacy provision, the term “technical data” means recorded information (regardless of the form or method of the recording) of a scientific or technical nature (including computer software documentation) relating to supplies* procured by an agency. Such term does not include computer software or financial, administrative, cost or pricing, or management data or other information incidental to contract administration.
