10 U.S.C. § 6127 — Notification of certain regulations that impact the National Nuclear Security Administration

(a) In General.— If a director of a national security laboratory^* of the Administration^* decides that a Federal regulation could inhibit the ability of the Administrator^* to maintain the safety, security, or effectiveness of the nuclear weapons stockpile without engaging in explosive nuclear testing, that director, by 15 days after making that determination, must submit to Congress a notification of that determination. (b) Form.— Each notification required by subsection (a) must be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex.
