There are chaplains in the Army*. The Chaplains include—
the Chief of Chaplains;
commissioned officers of the Regular Army appointed as chaplains; and
other officers of the Army appointed as chaplains in the Army.
The Chief of Chaplains, while so serving, holds the grade* of major general.
