The Army’s drill-sergeant training program must include at least two days of human-relations training. The Secretary must use the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute’s capabilities and expertise when developing it.
(a) Human Relations Training Required. The Secretary must include a human-relations course in drill-sergeant training. It must last at least two days.
(b) Resources. In developing the course, the Secretary must use the capabilities and expertise of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute.
The Secretary of the Army* shall include as part of the training program for drill sergeants a course in human relations. The course shall be a minimum of two days in duration.
In developing a human relations course under this section, the Secretary shall use the capabilities and expertise of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI).
