The Army Secretary may issue ordnance to D.C. high schools for military instruction and practice. Schools must post a bond worth double the property's value. This bond covers care of the property and its return when required.
Under regulations he sets, the Secretary of the Army* may issue ordnance and ordnance supplies* to District of Columbia high schools for military instruction and practice. The Secretary must require a bond worth double the value of the property issued. That bond guarantees the property is cared for and kept safe, and returned when required — except for property that's properly used up.
The Secretary of the Army*, under regulations to be prescribed by him, may issue to the high schools of the District of Columbia ordnance and ordnance stores required for military instruction and practice. The Secretary shall require a bond in double the value of the property issued under this section, for the care and safekeeping of that property and, except for property properly expended, for its return when required.
