Except where another law allows it, only members of the listed military services may wear their uniforms or uniforms resembling distinctive parts of them.
Unless another law provides otherwise, no person other than a member of the Army*, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force, as applicable, may wear (1) the uniform or a distinctive part of one of those uniforms, or (2) a uniform containing a part similar to a distinctive part of one of those uniforms.
Except as otherwise provided by law, no person except a member of the Army*, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force, as the case may be, may wear—
the uniform, or a distinctive part of the uniform, of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force; or
a uniform any part of which is similar to a distinctive part of the uniform of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Space Force.
