The Secretary concerned may create a system allowing selected offenders to remain under the Secretary’s authority after their normal service ends. They may voluntarily serve probation aimed at restoring them honorably to duty.
For people who were under the Secretary’s authority when they committed their offenses, the Secretary concerned* may establish a system to retain selected offenders beyond the end of their normal service obligation. The offenders may voluntarily serve a probation period with the goal of being honorably restored to duty.
The Secretary concerned* may provide for persons who were subject to his authority at the time of commission of their offenses a system for retention of selected offenders beyond expiration of normal service obligation in order to voluntarily serve a period of probation with a view to honorable restoration to duty.
