12 U.S.C. § 1772e — Data standards

This section requires the Board^* to establish data standards for regular information collections and reports submitted under this chapter. The standards must be compatible, as far as feasible, with applicable standards under section 5334.

(a) Requirement. By rule, the Board must adopt data standards for all information collections and reports that are regularly filed with or submitted to the Administration^* under this chapter.

(b) Consistency. The standards required by subsection (a) must incorporate all applicable data standards established in rules issued under section 5334 of this title and must ensure compatibility with those standards to the extent feasible. To the extent practicable, they must have the characteristics described in clauses (i) through (vi) of section 5334(c)(1)(B). This section does not define those characteristics.
