This section governs relationship to other applicable law. It sets the duties, permissions, limits, procedures, reports, or funding rules stated in the section.
This chapter does not stop a State regulatory authority* or a nonregulated gas utility* from adopting, under State law, a gas-utility standard or rule different from a standard this chapter establishes.
Nothing in this chapter prohibits any State regulatory authority* or nonregulated gas utility* from adopting, pursuant to State law, any standard or rule affecting gas utilities which is different from any standard established by this chapter.
