The Secretary must consult regularly with private-sector and state and local government representatives about United States trade information. The Secretary must seek recommendations about access, usefulness, and the data included in the export-promotion system.
The Secretary* must regularly consult private-sector representatives and State and local government officials about whether United States trade information is adequate. The Secretary must seek recommendations for making it more accessible, understandable, and relevant, and for deciding what data to include in the Data Bank’s export-promotion data system.
The Secretary* shall regularly consult with representatives of the private sector and officials of State and local governments to assess the adequacy of United States trade information. The Secretary shall seek recommendations on how trade information can be made more accessible, understandable, and relevant. The Secretary shall seek recommendations as to what data should be included in the export promotion data system* in the Data Bank*.
