15 U.S.C. § 5410 — Relationship to State laws

This section preserves State-law rights and claims that a buyer may have against a fastener seller. It does not preserve them when they conflict with this chapter.
Nothing in this chapter preempts, or takes away, a buyer’s rights or legal claims against a fastener seller under a State’s law, except to the extent this chapter conflicts with that State law.
Nothing in this chapter shall be construed to preempt any rights or causes of action that any buyer may have with respect to any seller of fasteners under the law of any State, except to the extent that the provisions of this chapter are in conflict with such State law.
