15 U.S.C. § 765 — Transfer of functions

This section transfers specified functions from the Interior Department and the Cost of Living Council to the Administrator. The transferred functions are those connected with or used by the listed offices.
(a) The functions of the Secretary of the Interior, the Department of the Interior, and that Department’s officers and components that concern or are used by the Office of Petroleum Allocation, the Office of Energy Conservation, the Office of Energy Data and Analysis, or the Office of Oil and Gas are transferred to and placed under the Administrator*.
(b) The functions of the Chairman and Executive Director of the Cost of Living Council, the Council itself, and its officers and components that concern or are used by the Council’s Energy Division are transferred to and placed under the Administrator.
There are hereby transferred to and vested in the Administrator* all functions of the Secretary of the Interior, the Department of the Interior, and officers and components of that Department—
as relate to or are utilized by the Office of Petroleum Allocation;
as relate to or are utilized by the Office of Energy Conservation;
as relate to or are utilized by the Office of Energy Data and Analysis; and
as relate to or are utilized by the Office of Oil and Gas.
There are hereby transferred to and vested in the Administrator all functions of the Chairman of the Cost of Living Council, the Executive Director of the Cost of Living Council, and the Cost of Living Council, and officers and components thereof, as relate to or are utilized by the Energy Division of the Cost of Living Council.
