15 U.S.C. § 9582 — Participation of Federal departments and agencies

The Under Secretary^* must— (1) consult appropriate Federal agencies and departments to (A) develop policies, comprehensive plans, and goals for programs under part B of subchapter I and subchapter III; (B) establish regular monitoring and reporting systems to ensure the Under Secretary's chapter-implementation goals are met; and (C) evaluate how Federal support for socially or economically disadvantaged business concerns advances this chapter's objectives; (2) conduct a coordinated review of proposed Federal training and technical-assistance activities directly supporting those programs to ensure consistency and avoid duplication; and (3) convene coordination meetings of agency^* and department heads, or their designees, whose programs or activities may affect or help carry out this chapter.
