This subtitle supports the travel and tourism industry and sets national goals for international visitors. The goals include recommendations, timelines, agency coordination, needed resources, visitor numbers, and the value of national travel exports.
The purposes of this subtitle are: (1) to support the travel and tourism industry, whose economic effects are vital to the national economy; and (2) to establish national goals for international visitors to the United States, including (A) recommendations and timelines for reaching the goals, (B) coordination between federal and state agencies, (C) the resources each government agency needs to reach the goals, and (D) the number of international visitors and the value of national travel exports.
The purposes of this subtitle are—
to support the travel and tourism industry, which produces economic impacts that are vital to our national economy; and
to establish national goals for international visitors to the United States, including—
recommendations for achieving such goals and timelines for implementing such recommendations;
coordination between Federal and State agencies;
the resources needed by each Government agency to achieve such goals; and
the number of international visitors and the value of national travel exports.
