16 U.S.C. § 161b — Designation for purposes of administration, promotion, development, and support

This section names the park for administrative purposes. For purposes of administration, promotion, development, and support through appropriations, the part of the Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park that lies within United States territory is designated as Glacier National Park. In other words, even though the park is jointly named with Canada's Waterton Lakes park, the United States still administers and funds its own side under this designated name.
