The Secretary may study scientific information and methods needed to improve restoration techniques for different kinds of coastal habitat. The study’s results must be presented in a form restoration practitioners and local communities can easily understand, and $500,000 is authorized for fiscal year 2007.
(a) In general. The Secretary* may study and update the scientific information and protocols needed to improve restoration techniques for various types of coastal habitat. The Secretary may combine the results in a format restoration practitioners and local communities can easily understand.
(b) Authorization of appropriations. Congress authorizes $500,000 for fiscal year 2007 to conduct this study.
The Secretary* may conduct a study to update scientific information and protocols needed to improve restoration techniques for a variety of coast habitat types and synthesize the results in a format easily understandable by restoration practitioners and local communities.
There are authorized to be appropriated $500,000 for fiscal year 2007 to conduct this study.
