16 U.S.C. § 6573 — Restoration plans

Every parcel enrolled in the healthy forests reserve program must have a restoration plan jointly developed by the owner and the Secretary of Agriculture, coordinated with the Interior Secretary. The plan must require measures needed to restore and improve habitat, including listed types of practices.
(a) In general. Land enrolled in the healthy forests reserve program must be covered by a restoration plan jointly developed by the landowner and the Secretary of Agriculture, in coordination with the Secretary of the Interior. (b) Practices. The plan must require the restoration practices and measures needed to restore and improve habitat for species described in section 6572(b), including (1) land-management practices; (2) vegetation treatments; (3) structural practices and measures; (4) practices that increase carbon sequestration; (5) practices that improve biological diversity; and (6) other practices and measures.
Land enrolled in the healthy forests reserve program shall be subject to a restoration plan, to be developed jointly by the landowner and the Secretary of Agriculture, in coordination with the Secretary of the Interior.
The restoration plan shall require such restoration practices and measures as are necessary to restore and enhance habitat for species described in section 6572(b) of this title, including the following:
Land management practices.
Vegetative treatments.
Structural practices and measures.
Practices to increase carbon sequestration.
Practices to improve biological diversity.
Other practices and measures.
