This section defines two terms used throughout the subchapter: 'park' means the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, and 'Secretary' means the Secretary of the Interior.
This section sets two definitions that apply for the rest of the subchapter. (1) Park — Wherever this subchapter uses the word "park," it means the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, which section 410kkk-1 of this title designates. (2) Secretary — Wherever this subchapter uses the word "Secretary," it means the Secretary of the Interior.
As used in this subchapter:
The term “park” means the Lewis and Clark National Historical Park designated in section 410kkk–1 of this title.
The term “Secretary” means the Secretary of the Interior.
