The Secretary of the Interior oversees the running, protection, and development of the Ocmulgee National Monument, following the same law that governs national parks generally.
This section has no lettered subsections. The Secretary of the Interior supervises the administration, protection, and development of the Ocmulgee National Monument, following the 1916 law that created the National Park Service, as that law has been amended.
The administration, protection, and development of the Ocmulgee National Monument 1 shall be under the supervision of the Secretary of the Interior subject to the provisions of the Act entitled “An Act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes”, approved August 25, 1916,2 as amended.
