The National Park Service runs this national battlefield park under the Secretary of the Interior's direction. It must follow the 1916 law that created the National Park Service.
This section says who manages the battlefield park.
The National Park Service, under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior, handles the administration, protection, and development of the battlefield park. This work must follow the Act of August 25, 1916, titled "An Act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes," including its later amendments.
The administration, protection, and development of the aforesaid national battlefield park shall be exercised under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior by the National Park Service subject to the provisions of the Act of August 25, 1916, entitled “An Act to establish a National Park Service, and for other purposes”,1 as amended.
