16 U.S.C. § 45g — Addition to Sequoia National Park

(a) In general: As soon as possible after December 28, 2000, the Secretary of the Interior must get full ownership of the land described in subsection (b), to add it to Sequoia National Park in California. The Secretary can get it by donation, purchase with donated or government money, or exchange. (b) The land: This is the "Dillonwood" tract, shown on a specific official map, numbered 102/80,044 and dated September 1999. (c) Adding it to the park: Once the land is acquired, the Secretary of the Interior must redraw the park's boundaries to include it, and manage it as part of Sequoia National Park under all the usual park laws. The Secretary of Agriculture must redraw the Sequoia National Forest's boundaries to remove that land from the forest.
