Once the transfer takes effect, the North-South Trail becomes a designated national recreation trail. This happens automatically under section 1243 of this title.
Effective on the date administration transfers under section 460lll-41, the North-South Trail is designated a national recreation trail under section 1243 of this title. No further action is needed to make this designation take effect.
Effective on the date of transfer pursuant to section 460lll–41 of this title, the North-South Trail is designated as a national recreation trail under section 1243 of this title.
