This law creates the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness. It covers about 75,550 acres in Colorado and Utah. This land becomes part of the National Wilderness Preservation System.
This law designates about 75,550 acres of land in Mesa County, Colorado, and Grand County, Utah, as wilderness*. The land is generally shown on the Map* referenced in this subchapter. This designation makes it a component of the National Wilderness Preservation System, named the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness.
Certain lands in Mesa County, Colorado, and Grand County, Utah, which comprise approximately 75,550 acres as generally depicted on the Map*, are hereby designated as wilderness* and therefore as a component of the National Wilderness Preservation System. Such component shall be known as the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness.
