The Fund may receive $10 million for each fiscal year from 2025 through 2029, available until spent. Each year, the Secretary may use no more than the greater of 3 percent of the amounts available to carry out this chapter or $100,000 for necessary administrative expenses.
(a) General rule
Congress may appropriate $10,000,000 to the Fund for each fiscal year 2025 through 2029 to carry out this chapter. The money remains available until expended.
(b) Administrative expenses
Each fiscal year the Secretary may spend no more than the greater of 3 percent of the amounts available to carry out this chapter or $100,000 on the administrative expenses necessary to carry out this chapter.
There is authorized to be appropriated to the Fund $10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2025 through 2029 to carry out this chapter, to remain available until expended.
Of amounts available each fiscal year to carry out this chapter, the Secretary may expend not more than 3 percent or $100,000, whichever is greater, to pay the administrative expenses necessary to carry out this chapter.
