16 U.S.C. § 5305c — Advisory group

The Secretary may convene an advisory group of public- and private-organization representatives active in rhinoceros and tiger conservation. Meetings must be open, noticed, and minuted for public access, and title 5 chapter 10 does not apply.
(a) The Secretary may convene an advisory group representing public and private organizations actively involved in rhinoceros and tiger conservation to help carry out the chapter. (b)(1) The Advisory Group must keep each meeting open and let interested people make oral or written statements about agenda items. (2) The Secretary must give timely public notice of each meeting. (3) The Secretary must keep and publicly provide meeting minutes. (c) Title 5 chapter 10 does not apply to the advisory group.
To assist in carrying out this chapter, the Secretary may convene an advisory group consisting of individuals representing public and private organizations actively involved in the conservation of rhinoceros and tiger species.
The Advisory Group 1 shall—
ensure that each meeting of the advisory group is open to the public; and
provide, at each meeting, an opportunity for interested persons to present oral or written statements concerning items on the agenda.
The Secretary shall provide to the public timely notice of each meeting of the advisory group.
Minutes of each meeting of the advisory group shall be kept by the Secretary and shall be made available to the public.
Chapter 10 of title 5 shall not apply to the advisory group.
