16 U.S.C. § 539l–2 — James Peak Fall River trailhead

(a) Services and facilities After the consultation required by subsection (c), the Forest Supervisor of the Arapaho/Roosevelt National Forest must set up a trailhead, plus facilities and services, to manage National Forest land near the Fall River basin, south of Alice Township and St. Mary's Glacier in Colorado. This must include: (1) trailhead parking, (2) public restrooms, and (3) trailhead and trail maintenance. (b) Personnel The Forest Supervisor must assign Forest Service staff to properly manage and oversee this area. (c) Consultation The Forest Supervisor must consult with the Clear Creek County commissioners and residents of Alice Township and St. Mary's Glacier about (1) where to best locate the facilities and services, and (2) what measures might be needed to (A) allow emergency and law-enforcement vehicle access, (B) protect public health, and (C) address concerns about local residents' access being blocked. (d) Report After that consultation, the Forest Supervisor must report to the House Committees on Resources and Appropriations and the Senate Committees on Energy and Natural Resources and Appropriations, on how much additional funding is needed to carry out this section.
