This chapter seeks to maintain healthy neotropical migratory-bird populations and support their conservation in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean. It also provides financial resources and encourages international cooperation.
The purposes of this chapter are: (1) keeping neotropical migratory-bird populations healthy; (2) helping conserve those birds by supporting conservation* efforts in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean*; and (3) providing money and encouraging international cooperation for those efforts.
The purposes of this chapter are—
to perpetuate healthy populations of neotropical migratory birds;
to assist in the conservation* of neotropical migratory birds by supporting conservation initiatives in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and the Caribbean*; and
to provide financial resources and to foster international cooperation for those initiatives.
