16 U.S.C. § 935 — Acquisition of real property; construction and operation of lamprey control works; entry into agreements for construction and operation of works

To carry out United States obligations under the Convention, the United States Section may: (a) acquire real property or an interest in it by purchase, exchange, gift, dedication, condemnation, or another method; (b) construct, operate, and maintain projects or works that help comply with the Convention’s sea-lamprey-control provisions; and (c) contract or agree with a State, another public agency, a private agency, or an individual to construct, operate, or maintain such projects or works.
