2 U.S.C. § 607 — Lump-sum payments for annual leave to separated employees

The Congressional Budget Office Director may pay separated CBO employees in one payment for unused annual leave. This applies to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1996.
(a) The CBO Director may make lump-sum payments to CBO employees who leave employment for their unused annual leave.
(b) This subsection applies to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1996.
The Director of the Congressional Budget Office shall have the authority to make lump-sum payments to separated employees of the Congressional Budget Office for unused annual leave.
Subsection (a) shall apply with respect to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1996.
