The Director of the Congressional Budget Office may make lump-sum payments to recruit staff and reward exceptional employee performance. The authority applies to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1999.
(a) The Director may make lump-sum payments to improve staff recruitment and reward exceptional performance by an employee or group of employees. (b) This applies to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1999.
The Director of the Congressional Budget Office shall have the authority to make lump-sum payments to enhance staff recruitment and to reward exceptional performance by an employee or a group of employees.
Subsection (a) shall apply with respect to fiscal years beginning after September 30, 1999.
