20 U.S.C. § 1011d — Student representation

When appointing bodies connected with this chapter, the Secretary must include people who are currently attending a college or other institution of higher education.
When appointing people to a commission, committee, board, panel, or other body connected with administering this chapter, the Secretary* must include people who, when appointed, are attending an institution of higher education*.
The Secretary* shall, in appointing individuals to any commission, committee, board, panel, or other body in connection with the administration of this chapter, include individuals who are, at the time of appointment, attending an institution of higher education*.
