The Board's accounts must be audited using the same rules used for other Smithsonian Institution funds. The audit covers both federal funds and trust funds. It is done as part of the Smithsonian's regular audit process.
The accounts of the Board shall be audited in accordance with the principles and procedures applicable to, and as part of, the audit of the other Federal and trust funds of the Smithsonian Institution.
