This law directs Treasury to make sure U.S. representatives at multilateral development institutions quickly share procurement opportunity information. That information must reach Treasury, State, and Commerce, and then be spread widely to large and small U.S. businesses.
The Treasury Secretary must instruct the U.S. representatives at the multilateral development institutions* to take every possible step to make sure information about potential procurement opportunities for U.S. firms is quickly sent to the Secretaries of the Treasury, State, and Commerce, and is spread as widely as possible to both large and small businesses.
The Secretary of the Treasury shall instruct the United States Executive Directors of the multilateral development institutions* to take all possible steps to ensure that information relating to potential procurement opportunities for United States firms is expeditiously communicated to the Secretary of the Treasury, the Secretary of State, and the Secretary of Commerce, and is disseminated as widely as possible to large and small businesses.
