22 U.S.C. § 7517 — Relationship to other authority

This is a short rule about how this law relates to other laws. It says the authority to provide assistance under this subchapter is in addition to any other authority to provide assistance to the Government of Afghanistan. In plain terms: other laws may already let the government send aid to Afghanistan's government. This section makes clear that the authority granted in this subchapter does not replace or cancel those other laws. It simply adds one more legal basis for assistance, on top of whatever other authority already exists.
