22 U.S.C. § 8514c — Imposition of sanctions with respect to persons engaged in the diversion of goods intended for the people of Iran

(a) Imposing sanctions. (1) The President must impose the sanctions from section 8514(c) on each person on the list required by (b). (2) These sanctions cannot include banning the importation of goods. (b) List. (1) As relevant information comes in, the President must send Congress a list of people the President finds have, since January 2, 2013, engaged in corruption or other misconduct involving (A) diverting goods — including farm products, food, medicine, and medical devices — meant for the people of Iran, or (B) stealing the money made from selling or reselling those goods. (2) Form and public availability. (A) The list must be unclassified, though it may include a classified annex. (B) The Treasury and State Departments must post the unclassified part publicly. (c) 'Good' defined. In this section, 'good' has the same meaning given to it in section 8801(a).
