25 U.S.C. § 290a — Bureau appropriations as not limiting transportation of school children
submitted 42 years ago by Pub. L. 98-473 to r/title-25-INDIANS · 45 words · no verdicts yet
Since October 12, 1984, Bureau of Indian Affairs money can't be limited this way. Normal travel expense caps for federal employees don't apply to school transportation. This protects funding for transporting school children.
On and after October 12, 1984, no part of any appropriation to the Bureau of Indian Affairs under this or any other act shall be used to subject the transportation of school children to any limitation on travel or transportation expenditures for Federal employees.
