28 U.S.C. § 1876 — Trial by jury in the Court of International Trade

(a) In any civil action in the Court of International Trade that will be tried before a jury, the jury must be selected under this chapter and under the procedures in the jury selection plan of the district court^* for the judicial district^* where the case will be tried. This section does not define the term "jury selection plan."

(b) Whenever the Court of International Trade conducts a jury trial—
(1) the clerk of the district^* court for the judicial district where the Court of International Trade is sitting, or an authorized deputy clerk, must act as the clerk of the Court of International Trade for selecting and summoning the jury;
(2) the jurors must have the same qualifications that section 1865(b) of this title establishes for jurors in the United States district courts;
(3) each party is entitled to challenge jurors under section 1870 of this title; and
(4) jurors must be compensated under section 1871 of this title.
