The Federal Judicial Center must provide periodic training programs and seminars for United States magistrate judges. It must also provide new magistrate judges with introductory training within one year after their initial appointment.
The Federal Judicial Center must conduct periodic training programs and seminars for full-time and part-time United States magistrate judges. This must include an introductory training program for new magistrate judges, held within one year after their initial appointment.
The Federal Judicial Center shall conduct periodic training programs and seminars for both full-time and part-time United States magistrate judges, including an introductory training program for new magistrate judges, to be held within one year after initial appointment.
