(a)
The Bureau of Engraving and Printing is a bureau in the Department of the Treasury.
(b)
The head of the Bureau is the Director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing appointed by the Secretary of the Treasury. The Director—
(1)
shall carry out duties and powers prescribed by the Secretary; and
(2)
reports directly to the Secretary.
