The Secretary must maintain and publish a database about maintenance dredging by Federal and non-Federal vessels. For each project and contract it must include estimated and actual volume, cost, party and vessel, and bid information.
(a) The Secretary must create, maintain, and make public a database of maintenance dredging performed by the Secretary, including work by Federal and non-Federal vessels. (b) For every project and contract, the database must include estimated and actual information about (1) the volume removed; (2) the Corps’ initial cost estimate; (3) total cost, separately showing all Federal disposal costs; (4) the party and vessel doing the work; and (5) the number and amounts of private-contractor bids, including bids that did not win.
The Secretary shall establish, maintain, and make publicly available a database on maintenance dredging carried out by the Secretary, which shall include information on maintenance dredging carried out by Federal and non-Federal vessels.
The Secretary shall include in the database maintained under subsection (a), for each maintenance dredging project and contract, estimated and actual data on—
the volume of dredged material removed;
the initial cost estimate of the Corps of Engineers;
the total cost, including a separate line item for all Federal costs associated with the disposal of dredged material;
the party and vessel carrying out the work; and
the number of private contractor bids received and the bid amounts, including bids that did not win the final contract award.
