Each year, the commission must report its work, transactions, plans, and estimated costs to the Chief of Engineers. The Secretary of the Army must then submit that report to Congress by the time Congress meets.
By November 15 of each year, the commission must give the Chief of Engineers, for the Secretary of the Army’s information, a report of its work and transactions. The report must include plans for constructing, completing, and preserving the public works described in this chapter, cost estimates, and the amounts that could usefully be spent on them each year. The Secretary of the Army must then submit the report to Congress by the time Congress meets.
Said commission shall submit to the Chief of Engineers, for the information of the Secretary of the Army, on or before the 15th day of November of each year, a report of its labors and transactions, with plans for the construction, completion, and preservation of the public works outlined in this chapter, together with estimates of the cost thereof, stating what amounts can be profitably expended thereon each year. The Secretary of the Army shall thereupon submit same to Congress on or before the meeting thereof.
